Old Pal is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and curious Brand Ambassador to help us spread the word about our unique and shareable products throughout New York City. This role entails executing brand education, supporting our licensee partners through relationship-building in key accounts, placing visual merchandising, and assisting with various needs at events.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Educate:
- Serve as a brand representative and resident expert on Old Pal products and brand story.
- Work with Old Pal, licensee, and dispensary partners to set up and execute in-person education sessions with budtenders.
- Become the budtenders' favorite brand to recommend to their customers by providing selling points and SWAG.
- Use education sessions as an opportunity to check dispensary eCom images, product information, and offer visual merchandising.
- Document all sessions/popups in real time.
- Assist the Sales and Marketing teams with event and sales tasks as needed, including shipments, printing / compiling printed sales assets, assembling giveaway items for events, etc.
Visual Merchandising:
- At the point of sale is where Old Pal can make the most meaningful impact in terms of visibility, boosting sales, building brand awareness, promoting new products, and educating customers.
- Brand Ambassadors will have monthly goals to secure visual merchandising (including setup) in key accounts and new stores.
- Brand Ambassadors are responsible for clear and thorough communication and documentation of all placements and/or feedback through the internal documentation system.
Experiences:
- Represent Old Pal at industry and consumer events including but not limited to:
- Transportation of all necessary materials to and from patient appreciation days or dispensary educational events on an as-needed basis, which includes a table and branded swag items.
- Responsible for setup and teardown before and after events.
- Represent Old Pal in other spaces as needed, i.e., at concerts, happy hours, and trade shows.
WHAT YOU HAVE:**
- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, quick learner, and interested in learning more about the cannabis space
- Experience with consumer promotions and field events a plus
- Excellent communication skills, keen attention to detail, and quick problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable with loading / unloading up to 20 pounds
- Approachable, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with a variety of different customers
- Social media experience a plus
- Open to working days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed / as events arise
- Must have a current driver’s license, a clean driving record, and access to a car
