Maintenance Technician IV
Join Topeka Metro's Maintenance department as a Maintenance Technician IV. The shift for this position is Wednesday-Friday 10:00 a.m. – 7:15 p.m. and Saturday 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. with an hourly pay rate of $24.26/hour.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform entry level maintenance service work on transit vehicles and facilities.
- Perform minor inspections such as checking/replenishing fluids and tire pressure. Fuel all transit vehicles and maintain daily fuel logs. Run fixed-route buses through bus wash.
- Respond to service calls from bus operators on route.
- Ability to perform facility and grounds maintenance duties, including mowing, snow removal, facility repairs, and painting.
- Ability to operate all equipment necessary for the completion of assigned maintenance duties.
- Must be 21 with ability to obtain a Class B CDL with air brake and passenger endorsements within six (6) months of hire date. Paid CDL training is provided.
- Steady work history with some basic mechanical experience.
- HS diploma/GED.
