Fire Sprinkler Fitter Job Description:
- Perform installation of sprinkler systems, run pipe and support structures throughout commercial infrastructures within fire codes, project blueprints and client specifications.
- Measure, cut, thread, and fit pipe to exact requirements.
- Secure hangers, valves, and system components for a complete and reliable install.
- Work closely with your crew and supervisors, accomplish project goals.
- Assist supervisor with inspections, pressure testing, and fine-tuning to make sure systems are fully functional.
- Follow OSHA safety practices, NFPA codes, and company quality standards every step of the way.
Basic Requirement:
- Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Experienced using pipe wrenches to install sprinkler pipes.
