Position Summary
We are seeking an organized, self-motivated Operations & Claims Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Public Adjusting firm. This position is responsible for managing insurance claims from intake through completion, supervising office staff, coordinating marketing efforts, supporting claim operations, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This candidate will complete payroll, recruit and training future employees.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and enjoys building systems, training employees, and solving problems.
Responsibilities
- Manage residential and commercial property insurance claims from intake through resolution.
- Maintain communication with homeowners, insurance carriers, contractors, attorneys, public adjusters, and mortgage companies.
- Monitor claim progress and ensure all follow-up tasks are completed timely.
- Supervise office staff and provide ongoing training and support.
- Develop and improve office procedures, workflows, and company systems.
- Coordinate calendars, inspections, mediations, appraisals, and litigation files.
- Manage pending files and ensure proper client communication.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee performance management.
- Support marketing initiatives, networking events, community expos, and relationship development.
- Work closely with the restoration division to coordinate mitigation projects and customer communication.
- Maintain accurate documentation using company software and CRM systems.
- Assist ownership with special projects and daily business operations.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Customer service experience required.
- Leadership or management experience preferred.
- Experience in insurance, restoration, construction, or public adjusting is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM software.
