Overview
We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Foreman to lead and oversee asphalt construction projects from start to finish. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all asphalt paving activities on construction sites, ensuring efficient workflow and safety compliance
- Lead and manage a team of workers, providing clear direction, supervision, and support to meet project goals
- Oversee quality control measures including material inspection, compaction testing, and adherence to project specifications
- Monitor budgets and control costs related to materials, labor, and equipment while maintaining high safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations
- Conduct site inspections
- Collaborate with project teams on contract management, change orders, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
- Enforce safety protocols on site by conducting regular safety meetings and inspections
Qualifications
- Proven experience in asphalt paving
- Supervising experience leading teams in a construction environment with a focus on asphalt projects
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
