Duties
- Supervise daily coffee shop operations, including food preparation, beverage service, and customer interactions
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure efficient shift coverage and high performance
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper food handling procedures
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations through regular monitoring and staff training
- Lead team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and promote a positive work environment
- Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for increased sales and cost savings
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams and supervising staff training programs
- Proficiency in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong cash handling skills
- Knowledge of food safety management, inventory control, and food production processes
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced casual dining environment
- Strong communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, team management, and customer service excellence
- Basic math skills for budgeting, profit analysis, and daily financial transactions
- Experience with catering or banquet services is a plus; familiarity with culinary techniques enhances overall performance
