HVAC Commercial Construction Installer

Position Overview:
The Commercial HVAC Installer is responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on new construction and commercial projects. This role requires experience working from blueprints, coordinating with other trades, and maintaining job site safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Experience installing commercial HVAC systems (duct, RTUs, curbs, hangers)
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Layout duct runs from prints, install hangers and supports, work on lifts, ladders, and roofs
- Sheet metal and duct installation experience preferred
- Follow all safety protocols while working on site, driving in a company vehicle, performing job functions in the company warehouse and yard.
- Familiarity with OSHA job site requirements, follow job site safety requirements at all times
- Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues immediately, and filling out and submitting monthly vehicle inspection form. Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis.
- Travel to job sites and work with department to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are effectively communicated.
- Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.
Required Credentials:
- Minimum 2 years of experience installing commercial HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Valid driver’s license
- A strong degree of self-motivation to provide exceptional service
- Ability to work effectively on active construction sites and coordinate with other trades
- Demonstrated listening, written/verbal communication, great organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to meet and exceed set goals
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification (preferred, not required)
- EPA 608 Certification, Type II or Universal (preferred, not required)
- Maryland Journeyman HVAC License (preferred, not required)
