We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our Day Hab participants, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and understand the importance of cleanliness in a Day Habilitation setting.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of Position:
Clean and sanitize classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas daily
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces as needed
Disinfect high-touch surfaces and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
Assist with setup and cleanup for school events or activities
Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate staff
Follow cleaning schedules and protocols, including those related to infection control
Previous cleaning experience preferred, especially in a school or childcare setting.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of cleaning products and safe usage practices.
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks (e.g., lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
Must pass background checks and meet all health and safety requirements.
