Position Summary:
Northampton Area Pediatrics is seeking a flexible part-time and weekend LPN with strong multitasking, communication, and critical thinking skills to support patient care, triage, and daily clinic operations in a fast-paced, patient-focused outpatient environment. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Coordinate staffing needs and respond to real-time operational issues during weekend and/or holiday shifts.
- Serve as a point of contact for clinical and workflow questions.
- Room patients, obtain vitals, histories, and reconcile medications.
- Prepare patients for exams, treatments and procedures.
- Administer medications, injections and other clinical treatments.
- Perform telephone triage, manage patient calls, voicemails, and refill requests.
- Document all care accurately in the EHR.
- Support patient flow and collaborate with team members across departments.
Qualifications:
- Active LPN License in good standing.
- 2+ years of clinical experience required; triage and/or pediatric experience preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience a plus.
- Flexible availability, including evening, weekends, holidays is required.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and ambulatory care standards.
- Experience with EMR systems and basic computer proficiency.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour
