Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by serving high-quality beverages and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service while taking drink orders and answering questions about the menu.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including Aloha POS, while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene when necessary to ensure a safe environment for all patrons.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies, as well as helping with ordering when needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food industry or nightclub setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Familiarity with retail math to assist in managing inventory and understanding sales trends.
- Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, for efficient order processing.
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes and bartending techniques to craft high-quality drinks.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members alike.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality service.
