Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Shift Leader to join our vibrant team! Responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless service and customer satisfaction
- Lead and motivate team members through effective supervision, training, and development to foster a positive work environment
- Manage food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards and safety regulations
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Control inventory levels through accurate stock monitoring and ordering to minimize waste and maximize profitability
- Enforce food safety protocols and hygiene standards consistently across all areas of the restaurant
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an exceptional dining experience
- Assist with shift management tasks including scheduling, staff coordination, and performance feedback
Requirements
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a focus on food preparation and customer service
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising or managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required
- Strong understanding of food safety management, inventory control, and food handling procedures
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a high-volume setting
- Excellent communication skills with experience in staff training, interviewing, and team development
- Knowledge of kitchen management, food production, catering, bar service or hotel experience is a plus
- Prior experience in managing hospitality teams with responsibilities including budgeting, profit/loss analysis, and training & development is highly desirable
