Now Hiring: Medical ReceptionistWe’re looking for a warm, detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our multidisciplinary wellness team. This role is essential to creating a seamless and welcoming experience for every patient. You’ll be based in either of our two Manhattan locations — Financial District (Wall Street) or Flatiron (Chelsea) — depending on your preference and scheduling needs.

What You’ll Do
- Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth
- Direct individuals to the appropriate provider or service
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
- Manage scheduling, billing, and insurance verification systems
- Answer phone calls, screen inquiries, and transfer calls promptly
- Register patients and assist with completing necessary forms
- Schedule appointments according to established procedures
- Collect and post patient payments; reconcile daily financials
- Maintain front desk organization and inventory of supplies
- Ensure reception area is fully prepped and presentable each day
- Gather and verify patient information for billing and office operations
- Collaborate closely with clinical team to support daily operations
What You Bring
- Experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a service-first mindset
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent phone communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable using computer systems and common software tools
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with insurance verification and authorizations
- Fluency in additional languages
- Familiarity working in a high-performing medical team
- A strong commitment to teamwork and company values
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
