Behavior Technician (BT / RBT) – Clinical Career Path
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Responsibilities of the ABA Therapist:
- Direct Intervention: Provide high-quality one-on-one ABA therapy to children and adolescents in home, center, or community settings.
- Program Implementation: Execute Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) and skill-acquisition programs designed by the BCBA.
- Data Collection: Utilize digital platforms for real-time data collection on client progress, ensuring accuracy for clinical reviews.
- Skill Acquisition: Teach vital functional communication (FCT), social skills, and daily living activities using Naturalistic Teaching Strategies (NET) and DTT.
- Caregiver Collaboration: Work alongside families to promote parent training consistency and generalization of skills.
- Professionalism: Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow the BACB Ethics Code at all times.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or Applied Behavior Analysis preferred.
- Certification: Active RBT Certification (Registered Behavior Technician) is highly preferred (we provide Paid RBT Training for the right candidates!).
- Experience: Previous experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or related developmental disabilities.
- Soft Skills: Strong empathy, active listening, and the ability to adapt to dynamic clinical environments.
- Logistics: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check.
Core Competencies & Skills:
- Positive Reinforcement: Mastery of reinforcement schedules to manage maladaptive behaviors.
- Crisis Management: Knowledge of de-escalation techniques (Safety-Care or CPI training is a plus).
- Documentation: Precise clinical note-taking and attention to detail.
- Teamwork: A collaborative spirit for multidisciplinary coordination.
