We’re looking for a dependable Field Technician II to support industrial and environmental cleaning operations at customer sites using specialized tools and heavy-duty equipment. This role is ideal for individuals who work well in physically demanding environments, prioritize safety, and can respond to changing jobsite conditions with urgency and professionalism.

What You’ll Do

Arrive at branch locations and customer jobsites on time, in proper uniform, and prepared to safely perform assigned work.
- Operate company vehicles, including cars, vans, and CDL-required equipment when applicable.
- Set up and break down industrial cleaning equipment, including water blast hoses and vacuum systems.
- Operate tools and equipment such as water blast guns, lances, wet and dry vacuum hoses, shovels, and picks.
- Perform industrial and environmental cleaning services at customer facilities and project sites.
- Follow all MPW health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures at all times.
- Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment before returning it to the branch location.
- Support emergency response projects that may require immediate deployment or schedule changes.
- Demonstrate initiative and accountability while completing assigned tasks and supporting team operations.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, vehicles, and equipment throughout each project.
- Work safely around industrial machinery, chemicals, confined spaces, and active operating environments.
- Communicate jobsite conditions, equipment concerns, and safety issues to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with additional operational duties and projects as assigned by leadership.
What You’ll Need

High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- Valid driver’s license with CDL preferred and ability to meet MPW driver qualification standards.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience working with tools, heavy equipment, or industrial maintenance environments preferred.
- Previous experience performing outdoor manual labor in industrial, construction, environmental, or field-service settings.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and work in confined spaces during 8–12 hour shifts.
- Ability to safely wear respirators, PPE, and protective equipment while working around chemicals, dust, fumes, and industrial noise.
- Ability to maintain consistent physical performance in demanding weather conditions and industrial environments.
- Willingness to travel for extended periods, including overnight assignments, multi-state projects, weekends, holidays, and emergency response work.
- Availability to work non-traditional schedules, overtime, and on-call hours as business needs require.
