Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
Assist with mobility, walking, and daily exercises
Support meals, eating, and light meal prep
Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, sweeping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms)
Document care and report updates to your supervisor
Caring, patient, and dependable
Good communicator who follows instructions and care plans
Comfortable working independently in a client’s home
Can read, write, and speak English
High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide or PCA course
6+ months caregiving experience preferred

EDUCATION / SKILLS / ABILITIES / AVAILABILITY

High school graduate of G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in health care (in homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State approved Nurse Aide or Personal Care Assistant course.
- Interpersonal relations abilities.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Primarily works in client’s place of residence; travel may be required.
