Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team for 2nd and 3rd shift schedules. This role involves operating, monitoring, and maintaining various machinery within a dynamic production environment to ensure high-quality output and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will complete machine set-ups based on product line, including teardown and set-up of required tooling.
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: Mon. - Fri. / Some Saturdays 1pm - 9pm
- 3rd Shift: Mon. - Fri. / Some Saturdays 9pm -5am
Requirements
- 6 plus months proven experience operating as a manufacture machine operator
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Strong mechanical knowledge including tooling setup, basic reading and math skills.
- Basic computer skills
- Express initiative and proactive behavior in work environment
- Follow safety protocols diligently; maintain a clean and organized work environment consistent with factory standards.
- Ability to work more than 8 hours a day, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift 40lbs occasionally throughout shift
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day
