Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an enjoyable experience from start to finish.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness to uphold health and safety standards.
- Utilize TOAST POS system for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Develop creative beverage recipes and suggest pairings to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures during service.
- Collaborate with team members to manage busy periods efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, TOAST and general cashiering skills.
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail mixing techniques, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and brewing processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in a fine dining or casual setting.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours.
- Experience in food industry roles such as food handling, catering, banquet service, or restaurant experience.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order totaling.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper beverage presentation techniques.
