Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns quickly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms.
- Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety guidelines, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation protocols.
- Support guest engagement through excellent customer service, creating a lively atmosphere whether in a fine dining setting or nightclub environment.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background is preferred; experience with fine dining or nightlife environments is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing top-tier guest service.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking between serving, bussing, and assisting kitchen staff.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction management.
- Experience with culinary tasks or food preparation is advantageous but not required.
