We are looking for an outstanding Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Bozeman Primary Care. This is a 2 day/week position, with generous pay. Your role will be to work alongside our three current providers providing top notch primary care to patients age 5+ in our community. You will have a great deal of autonomy and will also work closely with your colleagues to ensure the overall success of our clinic. Our patients value more direct access and a deeper connection to their healthcare provider. We are a hybrid model of Direct Primary Care & also take insurance. If you are dedicated to putting your patients first, work well both independently and as part of a close-knit team, and are looking for a change from "big medicine", we'd love to meet you. Salary is combination of base of + revenue sharing.
Responsibilities
- Examine patients and medical records
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
- Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
- Propose treatments
- Prescribe medications
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Inform patients about their health status and medications
- Educate patients and their family members
- Promote good health practices
- Advance professional knowledge
Skills
- Proven experience and expertise in a primary care, urgent care and/or chronic care setting
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ethics
- Patience and cool-headedness
- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
- DNP is a plus
