Busy medium-duty truck & equipment dealer in Northern Westchester County, NY is currently seeking an experienced diesel truck technician for general service, electrical and computer diagnosis, drive-ability diagnosis, and general truck & equipment repair.
Candidate should be familiar with the various departments in an automotive / equipment dealer environment.
Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to provide customer satisfaction. 40 + hr work week.
Responsibilities would include general service & repair. Diesel engine, transmission & differential overhaul, and hydraulics repair experience are a big plus!
The selected candidate should be willing & able to learn and will be trained on the various franchises the dealership represents.
Factory training is paid for by the dealership!
Communication, using computers for diagnosis, basic math, attention to detail, and reliability are all required skills.
Some road service or service at the customer's location is required, so the candidate must have a valid driver's license to operate company mobile service trucks.
