About Us: We manage a growing portfolio of short-term rental homes for owners across several markets, and we're expanding into the Seminole and greater Pinellas County area. We're looking for a reliable local handyman to call whenever something comes up at one of our properties.
About the Role: There's no set schedule here; work comes up as issues arise at our homes, so some weeks might bring a few calls and others none. You choose the jobs that work for you, and you're paid for every hour you work. It's a solid fit if you're an experienced handyman looking to pick up extra work on your own terms.
What You'll Do:
- Handle maintenance calls at our properties around Seminole, Largo, Pinellas Park, and nearby areas: minor carpentry, drywall patching, caulking, door and lock hardware, furniture assembly, appliance troubleshooting, small exterior fixes, and similar repairs
- Flag anything that needs a licensed trade (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing) or goes beyond a minor repair, so we can bring in the right contractor
- Check in with our team by phone, text, or photos to confirm scope before starting
- Send a few photos once the job's done
- Bring your own tools and a reliable way to get to properties around the area
What We're Looking For:
- Solid experience as a handyman or maintenance tech
- Comfortable working on your own; our team coordinates everything remotely
- Your own tools and vehicle
- Valid driver's license
- Able to get to a property within a reasonable window once we reach out
- Good communicator by phone and text
- No Florida contractor license required for this scope, though if you have one, let us know; there may be licensed work down the line too
What We Offer:
