Apex Family Healthcare Services LLC a robust outpatient mental health clinic that provides clinical services to a diverse client population with mental health needs. The provider team consists of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologist and mental health counselors. We are actively seeking a strategic and dynamic Human Resources Director to lead our HR initiatives and foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in human resources management, demonstrating exceptional leadership, organizational design expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of employment law and HR compliance. This role offers an opportunity to influence organizational culture, drive talent acquisition strategies, and implement innovative HR programs that support our company's growth objectives. The Human Resources Director will serve as a key partner to senior leadership, ensuring alignment of HR strategies with business goals while maintaining a focus on employee engagement, legal compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives, including talent management, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts through effective sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employee orientation processes to attract top talent.
- Oversee employee relations management by addressing workplace conflicts, conducting misconduct investigations, and fostering a respectful work environment.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law regulations such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), Workers' Compensation policies, and HR legal standards.
- Manage performance management systems by establishing clear evaluation processes, employee development programs, and training initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities.
- Supervise payroll administration, benefits programs, HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms and benefits administration to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead change management initiatives by implementing process improvements using data analysis skills and strategic thinking to optimize HR operations across the organization.
- Facilitate effective communication within the HR team and across departments through presentation skills and strategic planning efforts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management with supervisory experience leading HR teams in diverse organizational settings.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law in talent management, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance standards.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with expertise in recruiting, talent acquisition, employee evaluation, and HR sourcing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage human capital management systems such as ADP.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity for strategic thinking in HR leadership roles; experience in process improvement is highly desirable.
- Effective communication skills capable of managing confidential information handling while fostering an inclusive workplace culture aligned with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) principles.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, FMLA administration, and employment & labor law compliance practices.
- Analytical mindset with data collection and analysis skills to inform decision-making; proficiency in data analysis tools is preferred.

Education/Licenses/Certifications: High School Diploma and some post graduate education preferred.
