Quality Restaurant Services and Quality Fire Protection Services has been in business since 1991. We have over 30 years of experience in commercial kitchen exhaust system cleaning and over 15 years experience in fire suppression systems, emergency lighting, and extinguishers. We pride ourselves on conducting our services to NFPA standards. QRS and QFPS services restaurants, hospitals, nursing homes, casinos and any other commercial businesses in the Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania area.
We are seeking highly motivated candidates willing to learn and excel in this industry. This is a rapidly growing industry, willing to become certified by the NFPA in cities and states required. Candidates must be proficient in managing time, including time on the job as well as time on the road to job sites. There is opportunity for advancement within the company.
Job Description
- Inspecting and repairing pre-engineered commercial fire suppression systems manufactured by ANSUL, Pyro Chem, Range Guard, and Badger.
- Thorough understanding of NFPA, manufacturer, and local fire codes for restaurant fire suppression systems.
- Performing on-site emergency troubleshooting of fire suppression systems.
- Identifying NFPA codes and non-conformance issues.
- Maintain proper documentation for all work performed. Ex: complete checklists on site as well as take pictures for documentation for ourselves as well as our customers.
- Perform fire marshal tests and inspections.
- inspecting and installing emergency exit lighting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A current and valid driver’s license
- Prior knowledge and understanding of all NFPA codes encouraged, otherwise willing to learn quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer oriented
- Be able to represent the company in a professional manner on the job, as well as on the way to job sites in company vehicles
- Great time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs., work overhead, and work varied hours including on call
- Must be able to work occasional nights, early morning and weekend shift when needed
- NFPA certifications encouraged but not required
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
