Summary
We are seeking a Sales Consultant to join our team at Advanced Functional Medicine. This role will be pivotal in communicating our innovative treatment solutions and supporting our sales efforts. The ideal candidate will help bridge the gap between our medical expertise and client needs, contributing significantly to our mission of transforming healthcare, while increasing revenue and growth at the office.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
- Analyze client requirements and provide insights on how our services can meet or likely exceed their health goals.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our treatment plans.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with potential clients while maintaining strong relationships. (effectively upsell / downsell as needed)
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure alignment on patient care strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in consultative sales or a related field, preferably in healthcare or functional medicine.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in sales, particularly health or medical sales, is highly desirable.
- Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and collaboration.
Essentially, you will be meeting with potential patients and closing them on a care plan. This is what they are here for. A strong closer will not let them leave and think about it. The knee jerk response is to think about everything. This is someone's health and future. Have the skills to decide. This is why the commission is very good with this position. YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO FOLLOW UP with consults you had, and call potential consults that have reached out to us. If you are afraid of the phone, which Gen Z's and some Millennials seem to be, this may not be for you.
The hours of operation are Mon.-Thurs. 9am-5/6pm and Fri. 9am-2pm.
You will have your own office with a window, and will not see more than 1 potential patient per hour. This is a nice change for many that are overwhelmed in the current healthcare or sales scene.
The ideal candidate would be:
- Passionate about functional medicine, health, & nutrition!
- Personality plus, friendly, and loveable (able to build good rapport)
- Have the gift of sales
- Display a compassionate / confident / pleasant demeanor
- Able to work a full day Mon-Thurs and half day on Fridays
- Be familiar with Google Meet / Zoom (we see out of state patients as well)
- Be outgoing and completely comfortable selling patients on a care plan
- Be able to discuss money, budgets, and investing in themselves- with ease
- Have knowledge of laboratory testing (blood chemistry) and pharmaceuticals
- Doctor is willing to train the right candidate.
- Compensation is very competitive with opportunity for growth.

Starting pay is based upon experience. There will be a generous commission after the training period with every sale. There is opportunity for advancement and more full time hours for the right candidate. We would love somebody long term.
You MUST be eager to work and able to jump right in.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
