We are currently seeking an experienced Appliance Repair Technician to join our team in Jersey City. This is a full-time position for a skilled professional capable of independently diagnosing and repairing residential appliances and PTAC units. Please note that this is not a trainee or apprentice role; we are looking for a technician who can hit the ground running.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (varies by workload).
- Compensation: $28.00 – $45.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of residential appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, etc.) and HVAC PTAC units.
- Manage service calls and daily workloads independently.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding diagnoses and recommendations.

- Research and order parts, complete service documentation via dispatch software, and maintain communication with office staff.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of residential appliance repair experience (required).
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with major brands such as Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, and Frigidaire (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs .
Pay: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour
