- Provide surgical care in a variety of general surgery procedures

Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups

Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care

Supervise and train resident physicians and medical students

Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to compliance standards

Participate in surgical rounds and provide consultation

Respond to surgical emergencies as required

Engage in continuous education and professional development
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

Current medical board certification in general surgery

Experience in a clinical setting as an Associate or equivalent

Strong surgical skills with a focus on patient-centered care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Valid medical license to practice in the state

Level III Trauma
24-hour call coverage, 7a-7a
Required Procedures: Standard general surgery trauma procedures
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Additional Required Certifications: ATLS & DEA
