We are looking for a energetic, fun, outgoing cashier with exceptional customer service. Cashier responsibilities include managaging all transactions with customer's accurately and efficiently, receiving payments and issuing receipts and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate. You should be available for early morning shifts. Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
- Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the cafe
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
Skills
- Work experience as a cashier, restaurant, or in a similar role in customer service/ sales
- Basic PC knowledge
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
- Good math skills
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfaction oriented
Must be able to work in a demanding fast paced work environment, am, afternoon shifts hours are from 5:30am -3:00pm Monday - Thursday and every other Friday. Must be flexible, dependable, reliable, come to work on time, and a team player. Must be able to pass a background/ drug screening US citizen or have proof to work in the US. Must have valid transportation to.
