Job Summary
We are seeking 2 dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. One will work in our Cleveland location and one will work in our Athens, TN office. Preferable experience in an OBGYN office. In this vital role, you will utilize advanced ultrasound imaging equipment to produce detailed images that assist in diagnosing a wide range of medical conditions. Your expertise will support physicians in delivering accurate and timely diagnoses, particularly in maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn), and diagnostic radiology. The ideal candidate will combine technical proficiency with compassionate patient care, ensuring a positive experience for every individual you serve. Duties
- Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to capture high-quality images of internal organs, tissues, and fetal development with precision and care
- Assist physicians by providing clear, detailed sonographic images necessary for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Apply specialized knowledge in maternal-fetal medicine and Ob/Gyn to perform obstetric ultrasounds, including fetal growth assessments and anomaly scans
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety and prevent infections
- Explain procedures clearly to patients, addressing questions and alleviating concerns through effective communication skills
- Analyze anatomy knowledge and physiology understanding to identify normal versus abnormal findings during imaging sessions
- Document all procedures accurately in medical records, adhering to medical terminology standards and confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical imaging with proficiency in sonography techniques and ultrasound equipment operation
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to ultrasound procedures
- Knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine, Ob/Gyn practices, and diagnostic radiology principles is highly preferred
- Ability to apply aseptic technique consistently during patient interactions and procedures
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams
- Familiarity with medical imaging standards, patient care protocols, and safety regulations
- Certification as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent credential is required or highly desirable

Pay: $1,600.00 - $1,800.00 per week
