Maintenance Mechanic
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility machinery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.
- Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections.
- Complete repairs and parts replacements.
- Repair, adjust, or maintain machines.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.
- Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges and switches.
- Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at facility.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience in the maintenance field
- Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience
- Basic understanding of electrical systems
- Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended period
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Automotive and diesel maintenance experience will be considered
- MUST be flexible to work ANY shift and weekends.
Pay Rate depends on experience from $22.00 to $28.00 per hour
