Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking a Floating Supervisor to hire at a warehouse located in Marietta! The ideal candidate should be dependable, have reliable transportation, and available to work full time.
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Requirements for Floating Supervisors:
After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:
- Must have heavy manufacturing experience.
- Must be able to work any assigned shift within 24/7 operations.
- Two or more years of proven success in a production supervisory role or equivalent specifically in manufacturing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 60-70 lbs.
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.
Responsibilities of Floating Supervisors:
- Responsible for all operations including shipping, receiving, inventory, manufacturing maintenance, planning, scheduling, and safety within the team and shift assigned.
- Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
- Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
- Measure productivity by analyzing performance data, and activity reports.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems.
- Work closely with HR and Plant Manager to ensure that activities remain compliant
- Update and approve employee timesheets.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Shift Details: 6:00PM-6:00AM– Call for more information
