We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Bird Control Specialist to join our team in installing, maintaining, and servicing bird deterrent systems for commercial and industrial buildings. This is a hands-on field role ideal for individuals with experience in construction, facility maintenance, or general trades work who enjoy working outdoors, using tools, and solving real-world challenges.
What You’ll Do:
- Install bird control systems such as netting, spikes, wire systems, and other exclusion devices on roofs, ledges, signage, and other structural areas.
- Perform inspections of buildings to identify bird activity and assess appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Use hand and power tools, ladders, boom lifts, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work at heights and in a variety of weather conditions, adhering strictly to safety protocols and fall protection standards.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain previously installed deterrent systems as needed.
- Communicate with supervisors, project managers, and occasionally clients to ensure job expectations are met.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
What You Bring:
- Experience in construction, building maintenance, general contracting, or related trade (bird control experience is a plus, but not required—we provide training).
- Comfort working at heights and using ladders, lifts, and safety harnesses.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with power tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- OSHA 30 certification required.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
