OVERVIEW:
Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck LLP is seeking a skilled mid-level Associate Attorney for our Irvine office to support a thriving, high-volume insurance defense practice. This role is primarily dedicated to servicing a major institutional insurance carrier clients, with a heavy focus on General Liability, automotive, premises liability, and property damage defense claims.
The ideal candidate is an autonomous litigator who can step into an active desk, move files fluidly from start to finish, and deliver the precise reporting institutional carriers demand. This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule for the right candidate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience Vintage: 3–5 years of dedicated civil litigation experience (Insurance Defense or General Liability background preferred).
- Licensure: Must be an active member of the State Bar of California in good standing.
- Carrier Fluency: Familiarity with institutional insurance carrier reporting protocols, the tripartite relationship, and task-based billing software.
- Core Skills: Exceptional legal research, drafting, and valuation skills; ability to execute strategy under tight court and carrier deadlines.
