Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our growing team. This position is a pediatric role, treating patients in the natural environment. We work with patients 0-18 with an emphasis on the early intervention population. This position offers flexible scheduling and paid paperwork time. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing challenges in pediatric clients
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with individual needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based speech therapy techniques
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions that promote communication development in children of various ages and abilities
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care strategies
- Monitor progress regularly through patient evaluations and adjust therapy approaches accordingly
- Educate families on home exercises and strategies to support ongoing communication improvements
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist, or eligibility for intern license for CFY year,
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable but not required
- Specialized skill in feeding or AAC is highly encouraged, although support and mentorship in these areas is available.
- Familiarity with early intervention practices and developmental milestones for children
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate families effectively
Pay: $50.00 - $62.00 per hour
