Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care
- Provide expert advice on nail health, color choices, and trending styles to meet client preferences
- Maintain strict sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
- Engage with clients through excellent customer service, upselling additional treatments such as eyelash extensions or body waxing when appropriate
- Stay current with industry trends in nail care, color theory, and beauty techniques to offer innovative services
- Collaborate with team members to uphold salon standards in cleanliness, organization, and overall client experience
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or manicurist license with certification in nail technology or related fields
- Proven experience in nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel applications, acrylics, and nail art
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Strong communication skills to effectively connect with clients and understand their beauty goals
- Familiarity with color theory for customized nail design options
- Excellent retail math skills for upselling products confidently while prioritizing client needs
- Three years' experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
