Maintenance Technician

About the Position
Hollobus Technologies is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities and Maintenance team.
The Maintenance Technician will help keep manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems operating safely and reliably. This position works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Production team to troubleshoot problems, perform repairs, complete preventive maintenance, and minimize equipment downtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, routine, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Diagnose equipment problems and perform repairs within training and qualifications.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs.
- Perform equipment inspections, adjustments, lubrication, and component replacement.
- Assist with equipment installation, relocation, startup, and improvement projects.
- Perform general facility maintenance as needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, parts, and work areas in an organized condition.
- Complete maintenance records and work orders.
- Communicate equipment problems, parts needs, and safety concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Follow all Company safety procedures, including applicable lockout/tagout requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and follow instructions.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively.
Preferred:
- Previous industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or facilities maintenance experience.
- Technical, vocational, trade school, apprenticeship, or military training.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- Manufacturing experience.
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Schedule
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position with a regular 40-hour work week.
Overtime, occasional weekend or holiday work, and work outside normal production hours may be required based on operational needs.
Work Environment
This is an active manufacturing environment. The position requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and working around machinery and equipment. The employee may encounter noise, dust, oils, lubricants, temperature variations, and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic hazards.
Required personal protective equipment must be worn as designated.
