We are seeking a Mechanic/Technician to join our staff! You will be responsible for repairing various boats and marine products. The ideal candidate will have a background in marine maintenance and repair, with the ability to perform a wide range of tasks from basic maintenance to complex troubleshooting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of marine vessels and will be required to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a marine enthusiast to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on boats, diesel and gas engines, sterndrives, electronics, replacements, and mechanical inspections.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Assemble and install new components, such as engines and transmissions
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide own tools
- Stay up-to-date with the latest marine technology and best practices
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in marine maintenance and repair
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment in confined places.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest marine technology and best practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
