Personal Injury Litigation Associate Attorney responsibilities will include:
- Litigate personal injury cases from the inception of filing complaints, discovery, until resolution;
- Drafting, reviewing and propounding discovery;
- Taking and defending depositions;
- Meet and confers, motions to compel
- Drafting and/or opposing summary judgment motions
- Court appearances;
- Legal writing and research;
- Client communications;
- Pre-trial motions in limine; trial prep; and second chairing trials;
- Drafting settlement demands;
- Corresponding with insurance companies and defense counsel.
- Preparing for and attending mediation
Personal Injury Litigation Associate Attorney Qualifications:
- California Civil Litigation handling experience 2+ years (Personal Injury preferred);
- Licensed by the State Bar of California, in good standing;
- Excellent customer service and communication skills;
- Solid understand CA civil procedure for State Court cases;
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, not required
- Use of technology (Office, file management software) is required.
