Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – Part-Time | Wellford, SC
Legacy Healthcare Advantage is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide in-home care for a client in Wellford, SC. We are looking for a caregiver who is reliable, patient, and dedicated to helping clients remain safe and comfortable in their home.
Schedule
- Monday Wednesday Friday
- 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- Part-Time
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on assistance with personal care and activities of daily living
- Prepare and serve a simple lunch
- Perform light housekeeping, including tidying the client's living areas
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and ensure the client's safety during each visit
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition to the care team
Home Environment
- The client has dogs in the home. Applicants must be comfortable working around pets.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Caregiver, or Home Health Aide preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
- Ability to pass all required background screenings
