Our client is currently seeking or in need of a Warehouse Picker/Packer in Avondale, Arizona. This position is a great opportunity for dependable candidates who enjoy hands-on warehouse work and take pride in accuracy. The ideal candidate will be comfortable picking, packing, stocking, and preparing orders in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet daily productivity and safety standards.
The Day-to-Day:
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately using pick lists, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems
- Pack products safely and efficiently to help prevent damage during shipment
- Label and stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup
- Verify item quantities, product codes, and order accuracy
- Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse standards
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed
- Report damaged products, shortages, or discrepancies to supervisors
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems preferred
- Previous warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, picking, or packing experience is a plus
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer or scanner experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Pay Rate:
- $16.50 to $17.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, with possible overtime
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- or
- 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
