If so, Roosevelt University is seeking an Athletic Admission Counselor who will help us to identify and recruit the next class of Roosevelt Lakers. This position reports to the Director of First-Year Admission. This is a full-time, hybrid position based at our Chicago campus with the expectation that the Counselor will be on campus 3 days per week depending on the time of year.
The Athletic Admission Counselor’s primary responsibility is to guide first-year and transfer student athletes and families through the application and enrollment process, which includes meeting with prospective student athletes, families and school partners to assess academic eligibility, discuss academic offerings and inform individuals of the Roosevelt student experience. The Athletic Admission Counselor will work closely with the athletic division and attend all coaches/athletics meetings along with regular admission and enrollment management meetings. The individual will work directly with coaches on official prospective student athlete visits and events and facilitate follow ups with recruits to apply for admission.
The Athletic Admission Counselor will also serve as an initial point of contact for post-admission processes to support other offices such as Financial Aid Services, Academic Advising, or other student support services offices.

Physical Requirements: ability to walk, stand for periods of time, carry materials and supplies for events and college fairs, some moderate pushing and pulling may be required from time to time.

The salary range for this position is $54,000-$56,000
