Overview
Join our team as a CDL Box Truck Driver and become a vital part of our delivery operations! In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting freight using a box truck. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required. Your expertise in warehouse procedures, route driving, and customer service will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver freight to various locations, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while practicing safe lifting practices
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition for each route
- Verify delivery orders, navigate routes efficiently using mobile devices, and communicate effectively with dispatch
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring deliveries are made accurately and professionally, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns
- Adhere to warehouse operations when necessary, including material handling and moving items within the facility
- Maintain records of deliveries (BOLs/PODs), logs (ELD), non-fuel card details and transactions, and vehicle maintenance reports in compliance with company policies and DOT regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with warehouse experience and box truck operation
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or personal vehicle delivery is highly desirable
- Ability to handle automatic transmission vehicles with a GVWR above 26,001 lbs and operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, route planning, and adherence to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly throughout the day
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively
- Experience with mobile devices for route navigation and delivery updates
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or material handling equipment operation is a plus

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per week
