What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a busy ICU setting
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patient status
- Develop and adjust patient care plans tailored to individual needs
- Perform Point of Care testing procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge procedures
- Document interventions and patient progress accurately and promptly
- Support unit staff through effective communication and teamwork
What You Need
Required:
- Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications from AHA
- Critical care nursing experience
Preferred:
- Previous ICU experience
- Ability to float between units as needed
- Strong communication and clinical skills
