Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8-Hour Day Shift

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Interim Emergency Services Manager for a 13-week contract opportunity in Arcata, California. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing Emergency Services operations while supporting quality patient care, collaborating with clinical teams, and ensuring efficient department management. Candidates must have strong Emergency Room experience and prior management experience.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Services department.
Support quality patient care while ensuring efficient department workflow.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of emergency care.
Supervise clinical staff and promote compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and support operational and patient care objectives.
Requirements
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Minimum 5 years of Emergency Room experience required.
Minimum 2 years of management experience required.
Current BLS certification required.
TB clearance completed within the previous 12 months required.
