Duties
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and confidence
- Perform animal restraint and handling to ensure safety and comfort for pets and staff
- Collect blood samples
- Operate medical equipment such as radiology devices, laboratory analyzers, and anesthesia machines to facilitate diagnostics and treatments
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, anatomy, and veterinary surgical assistance techniques
- Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
- Familiarity with diagnostic radiology including X-ray procedures and radiology diagnostics tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients about pet care instructions and treatment plans
- Prior veterinary technician experience is highly preferred; certification or licensing is a plus but not mandatory
