Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical systems and equipment across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen appliances, and other mechanical components. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and other mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Install new appliances and mechanical equipment following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment delivery as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize work orders and respond swiftly to emergency repair requests.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of appliance repair, HVAC & HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems, and mechanical systems repair.
- Proven experience with service technician tasks including troubleshooting schematics and electrical diagrams.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair or replace components on various equipment types.
- Skilled in kitchen equipment maintenance and appliance installation for commercial settings.
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices to optimize equipment performance.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all traffic laws and safety guidelines.
- Leadership qualities that support team collaboration and safety compliance in maintenance activities.
