About the Role
As a Metal Fabrication Welder, you will play a vital role in our production team by joining and repairing steel components using advanced Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) techniques. Your craftsmanship will directly impact the structural integrity and quality of our finished products, ensuring we meet high-performance standards for our clients.
Responsibilities-
Execute precise MIG welding tasks to fabricate and repair steel parts according to technical specifications.

Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and component placement.

Operate and maintain specialized processing machinery, including grinders and drills, to prepare materials for welding.

Perform rigorous quality inspections using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to verify dimensional accuracy.

Safely operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and overhead cranes, to move heavy steel components.

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace by strictly adhering to all industrial safety protocols.

Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflows and achieve daily output targets.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Demonstrated ability to pass and maintain MIG welding certification standards.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical schematics.

Strong mathematical aptitude, specifically in converting fractions to decimals and metric to English units.

Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive manual tasks.

Prior experience in a metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing environment.

Completed vocational training or a welding apprenticeship program.

Current certification for forklift or crane operation.

Experience utilizing a variety of hand and power tools for metal finishing.
