Job Summary
The Professional Group is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Support Services Specialists to help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments for our clients. Our Specialists work in a variety of facilities, including Class A office buildings, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, manufacturing sites, commercial properties, and specialty facilities.
As a Support Services Specialist, you'll represent The Professional Group through professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
What You'll Do
- Clean and maintain assigned facilities to company and client quality standards.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Inspect your work to ensure high-quality results and address issues before they become client concerns.
- Maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Work independently to prioritize daily responsibilities and adapt to changing client needs.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, clients, and building occupants.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, equipment concerns, and supply needs promptly.
- Help maintain building security by securing doors, windows, and access points when required.
- Follow all company safety policies, including proper chemical handling and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Protect client property and maintain confidentiality.
- Assist with special projects, account coverage, emergency response situations, and training new team members as needed.
- Represent The Professional Group with professionalism, integrity, and outstanding customer service every day.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Two or more years of experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, healthcare environmental services, hospitality, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and professional.
- Adaptable and able to work in a variety of environments.
- Ability to pass required background screenings.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Work Environment

Schedules may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency response assignments. Travel between client locations may be required.
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb stairs throughout the workday.
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently.
- Push and pull cleaning carts, vacuums, and floor equipment.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and tools.
- Perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods.
- Visually inspect work areas and communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically.
