Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment to ensure smooth therapy sessions and maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Assist physical therapists with exercises to support individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, documenting observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Work with a variety of patients and diagnoses and provide each patient with excellent care.
- Communicate clearly with patients and their families to explain procedures, answer questions, and foster a positive therapeutic experience.
Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices is a plus.
- Ability to implement interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
- Strong client communication skills to build trust and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey.
