Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilities of clients of all ages.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills, including speech articulation, language comprehension, and social communication.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide support and resources for clients.
- Educate clients and families about speech and language disorders and strategies for improvement.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
- Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development across the lifespan.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with diverse populations and a variety of speech and language disorders is a plus.
- Proficient in using technology and software for documentation and therapy.
