West Springfield manufacturing company currently seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate. Previous forkift, shipping/receiving and warehouse experience preferred. Full time opportunity on 1st shift!
Duties:
- Safe pack shipments, make sure correct documentation is enclosed with each shipment.
- Receive raw material shipments, certify the material is correct and make sure proper documentation is recorded.
- Receive customer supplied components, weigh count if necessary and make sure the quantity is sufficient to fulfill the customer purchase order. Have QC measure a sample to catch any discrepancies before production begins.
- Some “finishing” work may be necessary to ensure a shipment will go out in time, this may include filing, broaching, gaging and or inspecting parts for shipping.
- Able to lift up to 50 lb packages required
- Monitor shipping supplies and request purchase as required.
- Must be able to use a forklift. Must have a valid drivers license.
Schedule: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday
Pay: $18-19/hr depending on experience
